GJP Discusses Expungement in Georgia on Rock 100.5

GJP legal director Brenda Smeeton appeared on Rock 100.5's Bailey and Southside yesterday morning with Kenya Johnson from the Fulton County Solicitor's Office to talk about the virtual Father's Day expungement summit happening until June 16th and the need to expand expungement in Georgia. The upcoming summit, focusing on second chances for fathers, will streamline the process of restricting misdemeanor arrests in Fulton County from your criminal record free of cost, entirely online. Applicants must pre-register here by June 16.

GJP is proud to partner with the many counties across Georgia hosting their own record restriction summits. These events condense the costly and time-intensive process of record restriction, reducing barriers to housing and employment for the individuals served.
